God has entrusted UCB to spread His Word to as many people as possible through the UCB Word For Today, UCB Radio and much more..

Isaiah 61:1 says that God is there to ‘comfort the broken-hearted’ and to ‘proclaim that captives will be released’. We too should try to demonstrate a heartfelt compassion towards others. The UCB Word For Today says:

‘And there are people around you who need your help to get up too. They need someone to pull them out of their despair and get them to Jesus, and God can use you to be that someone.’

“After giving birth to my second child, I suffered with post-natal depression.  I ended up comfort eating and my health suffered.  It was my darkest time; I felt worthless and no good at being a mum.  I thought my family would be better off without me.  But by God’s amazing grace, He STILL had a purpose for me…At times when I feel lonely and without purpose I always have the UCB Word For Today to comfort me.  I know that every day God’s words will guide and give me the strength I need to fulfil His plans for my life.” Amelia

‘I had lost my 11 month-old old son to a hole in the heart… I was always crying and praying to God to intervene.  A member of the church I attended at the time handed me the UCB Word for Today and immediately brought life into my world.  Every word in it was directed to the daily challenges I was facing. There was such a peace and calmness that emanated from the devotion.  I kept it with me everywhere I went and decided to share it with others as well.  Life…became meaningful to me and my husband.’  Becky

“When my husband died of cancer 3 years ago the reading in the UCB Word For Today was God's work speaking to me. It was 25th March 2015. It helped me so much through that terrible loss. The UCB Word For Today is so often a personal word for me and my family. Thank you so much. Thank you Jesus for always being there.”  A
